Before your appointment

Please avoid wearing any eye makeup, especially mascara, and curling your lashes before your appointment. Also, keep in mind, for the first 24 hours after the initial application you cannot get any water on the lashes. So please shower, workout, get a facial, etc. Before the appointment.

After your appointment

Avoid any water, including sweat, steam, heat, etc. for the first 24 hours. So no showering, steam rooms, facials, massages, etc. And do not “scrunch” your eyes tightly.

Say it with me – “I promise to say NO to ….”

No to mascaras (unless specifically made for extensions), no to oil based products, no to curling your lashes, no to eye masks, no to smooshing your face into your pillow, and no to picking at the lashes.

Some other helpful tips!

  • Use Oil- free makeup and skin care products.

  • Use lint free (preferably pointed) cotton swab with an oil free makeup remover to clean lashes nightly.

  • Use a washcloth or makeup remover wipes when washing your face.

  • Avoid putting face directly under the shower. They are waterproof, yes, but pressure washing proof, not so much.

  • Use a headband while working out or while being active to keep any sweat from dripping on to your lashes.

  • If your lashes should “shift” use your mascara wand or tweezers to adjust them back into place. Also, it’s great to comb the lashes after the shower so they can dry in “position.”
